This sweet & spicy carrot hummus is one of my favorite snacks! It is delicious as a dip with vegetables, chips, crackers, really anything!
In just a few short weeks, the NFL season will be starting and I am so excited! Football season is one of my favorite times of the year. It reminds me of being a kid, growing up in a football obsessed town (hello Texas high school football,) and I really love the game itself.
The best part about football Sunday is game day food! It’s all about snacks (like this awesome salsa), easy to eat foods, and things you can munch on throughout the game. Chemistry Cachet is all about healthy football food options. Hummus is always my go to!
About a year ago, I tried this carrot hummus from the store. It was delicious! This recipe was inspired by the store bought version, but I played with the flavor a little bit. (more…)

Today I am sharing the simplest fall container garden guide. We always think of mums as the ultimate fall flower, but there are so many more that give beautiful autumn colors.
Fall flowers, mixed in with beautiful pumpkins equals the perfect combination for your backyard, patio, front porch, or any place you want!
That is the beauty about container gardens!
Since the summers are so long and hot here in Texas, I start dreaming of fall weather around August. Fall is mild, sometimes warm, but much more enjoyable than summer. It is the time of year you can actually go sit outside, read a book, do yard work, hang out, or take a long walk without dying of heat!
So, fall is my favorite!
Let’s talk about the simplest fall container garden guide so you can create the perfect spot this season.
Today I have a fun list of delicious and easy iced coffee recipes to get you through the rest of summer!
Although fall weather is my favorite, I still love to make the most of summer during the last month. Iced coffee is one of my all time favorite treats! Even more than hot coffee, but especially when they days are long and warm.
Sitting outside on the porch swing, reading a book, and sipping some iced coffee is my idea of a perfect day. Over the weekend we had a break in our 100 degree temperatures, so we actually go to enjoy the day. As you saw on instagram and snapchat, we spent most of the day outside!
It was perfect!
I have been gathering all of my favorite easy iced coffee recipes the past month. I have tried pretty much all of these in some form. A few of these are my recipes that I make over and over again. Either way, this is the perfect list to get you through the last month of summer and make the most of it!
Happy Friday! It was such a beautiful rainy week here in Texas. In fact, we had a few days that were only in the 80s which is incredibly unusual for this time of year (aka never happens). It got me SO excited for the beautiful fall weather that should be coming in the next few months.
My husband and I enjoyed the cooler weather and took many walks, did some swinging on the porch swing, and got some projects done. It is amazing how great you feel when it isn’t 105 degrees lol
We are also reading the new Harry Potter book as I shared on instagram a few days ago. I will share a review soon!
